One of the best tunes, especially in concert, YYZ by Rush.
Steve Cass
Solid Walnut Music/ASCAP
Becoming a great guitarist has less to do with fancy moves than it does becoming a master of the basics and learning musicianship.
It's not what you can't do. It's how you play what you already know.
Yes, this is old. Don't give up on this. These guys jam heavily! Be sure to check out the second part. The first part of the song is completely mild in comparison.

Beautiful Cover of "Little Wing" by Carlos Vamos !
Wow that is superb! That has to be the most original cover f Little Wing I've ever heard! Simply brilliant playing there.
I saw where he wrote in his description where he filmed from many different angles to see what's going on.
I wouldn't even no where to begin with something like that lol!
You know I never even heard of all of these unorthodox styles until youtube came out. I really think youtube has brought the guitar back. Not that it's ever really been gone but most of the music out these days only focus on rythm. It has certainly opened up many new possibilities in my mind for techniques to try.
You don't see alot of the flashy stuff any more and it's good to see such creativity after listening to the same old tired stuff on the radio.
Here's a fun one to watch....
Marty is one of my fav's and Paul is a great teacher as well as a player...
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
