Cool tune, though I liked the Beach Boys version more. I like their surf rock music more. That song sounded more country.

The first version had a serious under supply of hats, checks and beer bottles.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's,
And his hair was perfect.

Whoa, that first version brought back memories of Grandma and Grandpa on the back porch. That was just the way they played.

Yep I like that one, both versions...........uh wonder if being from La. has anything to do with it!? Interesting instruments. My husband tells me that Country music is really big in Japan, maybe China also or wherever this is!!

The version I know is The Kingston Trio on the B side of Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley - my older brothers had a record of it and we played it constantly way back when (I was still in my cradle - obviously)
One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain - Bob Marley

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
