I Need Help

Can anyone tell me how to compress my files?
I was told that my clips are too long! I have to shorten them now
to upload them. Most of my stuff is 2 minutes long.
Keep jammin'!!

Media Jukebox includes a Wave to WMA file convertor which will reduce the size of your files by about 70 - 90%. I see the latest version also includes an MP3 encoder too.You can download a free trial version from www.mediajukebox.com but I can't be sure if the trial version allows those features. My older version did.

Here's another one:
http://www.nch.com.au/switch/plus.html
It's a program called Switch that you can use to encode mp3's to whatever compression level you need. I've rarely needed to use anything else.
And it's free!

OK, so your files are in wave format, now I gotcha..

I agree that Switch is the best one out there IMHO. db PowerAmp is my 2nd fav, but it's a pay for.

Make sure that you convert your files to 128kb mp3's. Most sites will only accept them in that bit rate....

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
