More free recording software

I found this today and hope it may be useful to those new to recording.
I haven't done any recording yet, so I don't know what to look for in software, take a look and see what you think.
I'm wondering how it compares to Audacity.

Open the link below, download Anvil Studio and follow the instructions.
It's a 3.4Mb file.
Click on the downloaded file to install it, (it should be named mstudioZ.exe) and follow the prompts.

Also further down the same page as the Anvil Studio download link is another link to Harmony Central, which has a section on computer-based music.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
