Texas Chunk Blues.

This is the final lesson in the Texas blues lesson series. Building on the first two lessons, you should be able to find all kinds of ways to play through this progression. You will recognize this as a standard in building a blues tune. SRV's Cold Shot comes to mind. In fact I used a similar alt ending for those of you with a higher skill level.

The chord progression is the same as the other two lessons. keep in mind you can throw that palm mute in on any off beat you want to add as much rhythm chug as you want.. I have mixed it up a bit. make it yours. Play with it. Change it to make it yours.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
