... i swear I can't help it .... a day without music...

is killer......

Ok... I promise ... after this one..... I stop for a while....

Those who know me know I'm Tom Petty head. Along with the baggage that goes with it. For Christmas I received Tom Petty's Playback set. Six disc's worth. Some seriously rocking music in there. Anyway, this is one of my favorites from the package and I just had to do it today. It's an old Conway Twitty tune with a Heartbreakers twist.

Well , Les, First of all, we know it's difficult for you to NOT play... that's clear!!

And the stuff you do post is really good!! So, in that regard, keep it up!!

But Dude!!!! That was him!! That sounded right on Tom Petty's vocals!!! Really! How long have you known him? Does he stop over to your place often?

All kidding aside..you did a great job on the Petty twist. Keep 'em coming!!!

Looking forward to your next one!

Nice! You have Petty's vocal style down!

It's OK, though. I've been doing enough not playing for both of us.

Excellent Les!
Got to love those Tom Petty tunes. I think your Petty tunes are some of your best work, but I might be biased because I like Mr. Petty too.

Excellent, lc! As a big Petty and Dylan (and Byrds) fan myself, I've also very much enjoyed your versions of "My Back Pages" and "Oxford Town"...and could listen to a whole lot more ;)

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
