one more demo...

I feel a great lack in technique - my playing grates on my nerves))

I wish I could play it with slide - I'm always touching the 6th string while I play on th 5th with slide...

In fact thet's the 1st piece of music I tried to add some dynamics to( concerning the volume/loudness and just the phrases). Did I succeded in that?

Hi Toxer ... happy 2006.

It sounds to me like you just need to do it more, keep on playing and you'll get to where you want to be. I thought dynamically the middle section worked really well ... there it definitely became more musical, with a definite vibe being set up. The opening and closing setions were less smooth and flowing, but just keep working on it. Maybe planning ahead a little bit more in your thinking will help. Really visualize those bits that you have trouble with well in advance and let the moment take care of itself.

All the best, keep warm!

Hi Toxer,
Thanks for putting up another song. I appreciate the separate bass-line playing with the sweeter melody part. I'll quote Bill Cosby, "Keep fightin', babe!" ,you are definitely improving.

Do you ever play to a beat, like taping your foot? I do. and it helps tremendously. I always tap real slow until I get the notes the way I want them and then practice gradually speeding up to the tempo I want to finish with. Try it, it may help those smooth slow parts where you need a lot of control to keep the notes ringing out.

talk to you later,

six strings bangin' on a board, (makes it sound simple)
