My first ever slide recording.

http://l1.yousendit.com/d.php?id=3PL...OCQUI0LA4H4BKG

This is in open E. I've been playing slide for about six or seven months. I'm 15...
I'm using an Epiphone Les Paul with a Dimarzio Bluesbucker in the bridge through a Peavey Classic 30. There are no effects or recording icing.

Please critique.
Tell me what should I improve on and what am I doing correctly.
Thanks

-Tom

this is what I get now.

Unfortunately, the link you have clicked is not available.

Your transfer cannot be completed. Most likely the file has exceeded its allotted bandwidth or has been removed by the original sender or a recipient.

I can't get it either, manwithaplan.

Why don't you quickly set yourself up an account at Soundclick? It really is the best way to do this kind of thing. Go to https://www.soundclick.com/community...n.cfm?Band=Yes for the sign up page ... it's free, it's easy.

I want to hear it!

Kirk

I would love to check it out as well! I also can't get the link to work. Being a new slider myself, I'm very interested in hearing your clip manwithaplan!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
