"Cloudy Day" Original song (Improvised phrasing)

So, here i am again with the same drum idea as the other song i uploaded. This time i was on a completly diferent mood. Its all improvised in one take to preserve the authenticity of the recording, and that means there are some "issues" here and there. Its a phrasing theme, enjoy

Great playing. You hit a strong melody idea around the 1:50 mark. My honest opinion is that the phrasing didn't really move the melody forward because it lacked a cohesive center to connect everything together, if you get what I am saying. A home base that the phrasing revolves through and around would have made this killer. I loved the tone and feel you were going for.

Thanks for being honest man, i apreaciate it. I was playing with this idea when i was making the recording. Thatīs why theres no "base" on it, just ideas over an structure. But once more, thank you for your sugestions, ill sure do another take of this song with a more solid idea

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
