Electric slide/nylon string Auld Lang Syne

Here's the little movie of 'Auld Lang Syne' I did last year. I recorded the nylon finger style first, then overdubbed and filmed the electric slide playing along to it.

There's a new finger style lesson for this here, if you haven't seen it yet

Happy Boxing Day!

(for those who don't know what Boxing Day is, it's the day after Christmas when, traditionally, we don the gloves and spend the day boxing ... beating the living daylights out of each other. )

Hi Kirk.

First of all I want to thank for those nice finger style lesson (and all the other lessons of course!). Really "just in time".

I'm wondering if there already exists a tab or a gpro-file for the slide version. That would be great.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
