Cliffs of Dover

I just bought the Line6 POD XT Live and did this quick recording of Eric Johnson´s Cliffs of Dover to test it out. I think it have a better overall sound here on my house amped , but on the recording i hear the noisy squirrel sound.... anyway its mic-ed cause i dont know how to record directly with the USB. Its one a 1 take recording and its just for tone critic xposure because a lot of parts have big mistakes. Its not a mastered track yet, you know.... The first solo was recorded using the bridge pickup and the main melody with the middle pickup of the Strat. I hope you like it as it is

Cool. The mids seem a little harsh though. Course you have hours of tweaking you can play with on that thing to dial it in for anything you want. Kick in the squirrel filter.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
