Awake the dying

Hi all.
here is the latest thing I'm working on.
A track called "Awake the dying"
Its no where near finished - this is probably the musical equivalent of a quick sketch.
The track needs to go to a major kind of feeling for the end 1/3.
Not sure yet, I'll know it when I find it.

I've just started to re record it properly (only the intro so far)

see what you think of the sketched version so far.
The ryhthm is a bit shakey to start too!

THe bt part is working for you. I have some concerns about the the lead part though. What Key is your tune in? The scale your playing over the chords seems to be consistantly flat. You may want to rethink your choice of scales.

Sorry, I dont know what bt means in "THe bt part is working for you"

The track is supposed to have a Dm feel to it (which would then resolve to a major kind of feel in the last part)
I kinda like the runs but as you say, they dont quite sit right.
It needs more work.
That sections needs to have a very "anguished" feel about it. Having trouble getting it.

Thanks for listening though

By BT I mean back track, the rest of the tune behind the lead. Your basic chord progression seems to be written in the key of D
First part Bm/(D/G) repeat
Middle G/ (A/D) repeat
Third part Bm/(A/D) repeat. The only minor chord in there is the Bm
If you want a Dmin sound than Minorize all the major chords or transpose the tune to the Key of F which gives you a minor D,G,and A. You would have to remember that the the B is Bb or A# in that key and is major.
