God Rest Ye
Here's a rock version I created of an old favorite. If you have headphones, you might like this! Enjoy, and a very Merry Christmas to all!

PS I also made a backtrack that I'll be uploading shortly...

Excellent! Finally, a treatment that justifies the alternative title,
"God rest ye Jerry mentalmen."
That's one way to encourage the youngsters into church. I can just imagine Sundays with that soundtrack. Unfortunately, I can also imagine the response of the blue rinse brigade - heart attacks all round accompanied by, "whatever is the world coming to".
Let's have more of the same.

We actually played a version of this for a starter tune for church last Sunday. That was part of the inspiration for me recording this. The times they are a changin', my friend. Thanks for the kind word.

Yep it was Rockin' Steve! Not what I was expecting from you at all... I've already added it onto the GFB&B ChristmasRadio. Thanks for recording it.
Great stuff!

I love keeping people guessing! Yah, I'm a rocker, but I mostly record acoustic stuff.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
