Nice! Cool sound.

There is some distortion in the recording. I don't know if that was intentional, but I might like it better clean.

The distortion isnt intentional - I still a bit of a newbie when it comes to recording to be honest. I think my levels are causing some clipping but havent figured it all out yet

I'll get there one day

Yes, I liked that. A strange mix of laid back and relaxing but with drive at the same time. Does that sound as confusing as it reads? A bit like the tune then - simple and complicated at the same time. Well done.

As you say the distortion wasn't intentional, my advice is to do it again, because musically, this is an excellent track. I'd love to hear it clean.

Yes, I know what you mean, and you just described the tune well, perfectly in fact.

Glad you liked it.

(available on video too apparently!)

Thanks, I'm really pleased you like it. It gives me a buzz to know people are enjoying music I write.

As I said, I'm still in the early stages of recording so I'm still learning.
Hopefully I'l become more proficient with levels etc.
When I do, I'll do it again.

many thanks.

No66y Celtic Jam W Jay

No66y didn't mean no offense!
Best, cheers,
Jay
Why would I be offended?
Thought the lead over was fantastic, nicely mixed too.
I think I'm a loooong way from being able to noodle that well

I really like what you've done with it, do you mind if I keep it to let friends hear it (feel free to say no, I'd understand)

As to tracks, I can usually come up with a rhythm and "feel" but my lead playing isnt up to much still so popping a lead over often is beyond me.

I'm currently working on another but hit a brick wall

Thanks for listening everyone
