Nice groove and you got that dash of funk just right. Would have been nice to hear it go off into a bridge of some sort so it doesn't get too repetitive. Nice job.

That's the way it's starting to feel to me Tom - but why did this start at age 53? (54 now). The rest makes senses in a global sense, but for ME, right now the Blues are what I feel the strongest. Mid-life crisis? Just old age creeping up? Whatever, the Blues hit me almost a year ago and they ain't letting up!

Lately i've had several reasons to play the blues just wish i had the skills needed. If you do go for it. The older we get the more illusions break down, couple that with personal problems and you got the blues

Yeah - the day (yes, it started that suddenly) the blues got me - last August! - was a really bad day at work, I came home depressed...didn't feel like doing anything, but there was a feeling to take out the ol' guitar I hadn't played for a while and when I did I started playing blues progressions. Just like that, without any planning or expectations that would happen. And two electric guitars, and much other gear later, I'm still bluing! (is that a real word, bluing??? ) Beware anyone who isn't smitten with the Blues yet - they CAN get you ANYTIME!!! (and when you least expect it)!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
