Acoustic Electric Crash

Hi again.

I got a bit inspired by all the acoustic playing on this site so I bought an acoustic a couple of days ago (Ibanez Talman TCY10), but Iīll not have it delivered until tomorrow, so I got, understandably I think, a bit frustrated (I like buying guitarstuff, but I donīt like waiting for it). So, I sat out on the porch friday evening and noodled a bit and this tune sort of came from nowhere. I had meant to use my new acoustic for it, but the song arrived before the guitar so I just had to try and record it. Which means Iīm still using my Ibanez electric, but with a more acoustic sound.

I tried to upload it but it didnīt work, so you can listen to it here:

Constructive criticism is always wellcome.

Hey, cool bluesy song, and that Ibanez electric sure sounds nice! Great fat tone you got there and I'm looking forward to hearing your acoustic stuff once that arrives for ya!

Great work!

I reckon this would be great for a combination of electric and acoustic guitar! Nice one.

Thanks for the kind words.

It turns out I wonīt be playing any acoustic after all. I got it, played it for a couple of days and hated it. So I returned it. My electric is just so much easier to play, so I think Iīll stay with that for the foreseeable future. Which doesnīt mean I canīt make more acoustic sounding tunes.

Well, well, I really thought Iīd like to play acoustic.

Yes, me too. I just wish I had someone to provide the vocals

I had a friend over yesterday, and ha added some piano to it, so we will be working on it together. Itīll be interesting to see what happens with it. Iīll post the result when itīs finished.
