Make Me Down A Pallet - Finger Picking

Hey guys....

Jammin' it up on the Farm! The Frog Cafe Way!

A perennial favorite of mine. A little finger pickin' Doc Watson style.

Make Me Down A Pallet - HI-FI [2.3Mb @ 2:26]
Make Me Down A Pallet - LO-FI [588K @ 2:26]

Enjoy!

Les

That's a toe tapper for sure Les!
Well, in my case, that's a double foot tappin' tune!
Great playing and singing!

That was great- also, for those students of the blues out there, it is the same tune (different words) as "Ain't No Telling" by Mississippi John Hurt.

No, just a bit more laid back- but pretty much identical finger-pickin'. I've got a copy of it on an old tape of Blues Masters I picked up back in college.

Fantastic playing and singing. Is it just me or did both version have some sort of crackling going on? Just wondering, because otherwise it sounded great.

Hey- I may play slow, but I sure am imprecise!
