Beginner gives it a try - please listen

here is a piece I wrote all of a sudden in some few minutes. I don't know how good it is. I've been playing guitar for a little more than a year and a half now. And just most of you, I'm self taught. Give me some feedback!

That is pretty cool to come up with in a few minutes. You could add a bridge in there to break it up a little. That is a keeper. Good stuff.

Really cool. It doesn't sound like something that came to you in a few minutes, it sounds like it was worked out and finely polished. Well played too.

Nice job! Sounds like your self-teaching is helping you out. After a few of Kirk's lessons you'll be even better!

you're right si16. But I was amazed. I'm really a beginner. 'been playing for less than 2 years on self taught basis. I picked key C and most of it flowed out somehow. But I certainly did some add ons. Atta boy! thanks a lot

Hey Hippy, thnx for that!
Hehe, I'm yet to make 2 years on the guitar. I'm new around here, looks you're new here as well. To tell the truth I'm not using any particular fingerpicking pattern. Playing some chords in C and some notes in between with some flow. It's G as intro, !C Am Em C G ! 2x
! Am G ! C Em Am D2 plus some other notes in C I suppose. Really I have no clue sometimes what it is that I play.
PS: I'm now 25 and getting younger

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
