A Little More Tom Petty ;) (from his new album)
Hey folks,
I heard this Tuesday on iTunes. Now those who know me know I'm just a dead-head Petty fan so I had to get it, learn it and record it. Just to see if I could. You let me know! I'm not a lead guitarist so .......
This is a cranker. Turn it up!
Saving Grace - Tom Petty from Highway Companion [3.9MB @ 3:43]
Turn it up just a tad more!
Enjoy
Les

I did enjoy that, I heard one of his new ones tonite myself. Do you play all those tracks yourself, or is it a backtrack or other folks?

Hey Tom! (um..I mean Les )
Great job - and I think you and Tom would make a great duo!
You did a really credible job on this song and lead guitarist or not, you rocked!!

Nice job! I don't think I've heard this tune, but you do have that Petty vib working very well. Nice production on the recording! Prolly scared the frogs!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
