Here is a song with a Hawaiian melody sound to it. It's not too difficult to strum while picking the melody at the same time. Just needed to learn one, then the other, then to put them together.

Aloha chammon! Nice sound as always.

You say: "It's not too difficult to strum while picking the melody at the same time."

Are you kidding me? I can walk and chew gum but can't make much progress with that at all! I suppose I should find a dead easy song and build from there. Time to go back to school and try some of Kirk's lessons I guess!

Great one, chammon! I can imagine this as a tune for a good morning on a radio! Very jollyful... I just wonder how you play it? Could you post tabs or something? Maybe Guitar Pro file? (Of course if this is not copyrighted, and you're offended with this question)

Delightful, as usual.

Can we have a pic of you in your grass skirt? It's not for me you understand, it's for Marty.

Really nice chammon!

Great playing as always, and this is a nice tune...the very ending sounds kind of like "take me out to the ballgame..." if you know that song. Of course, it could be just me hearing it that way. But in any case, I like it!!!

No picks Seagull. Just bare thumb and fingers. Hey Allthumbs and Nowhereman. Trust me when I say that you do NOT want see me in a grass skirt! NamiguShin, the tune is an ancient Maori melody. Sorry but I'm ignorant when it comes to tabs. Wish I wasn't. If I could it would be my pleasure to share the tabs with you. Jim, I do hear the similarity. I hadn't noticed that becore. Thanks to all who said they liked the way I played it. The actual title is "Cleanse Me". I just used the first two words for my header.

Sublime, as always chammon. Your feel is just pure delight ...

Hey, here's an idea! Buy yourself a good mic and whatever it takes to record those without the hiss. We need you on the GfB&B Radio.

Also, if you do have tablature for them, please do post it. We can make you a lesson forum all your own. You really are as good as it gets when it comes to that style of guitar. We're privileged to have you here.

Edit: just noticed that you said you didn't have the tablature ...

I agree with Kirk, I think it would be great to hear you on the radio. You're a natural.

Thanks for the confidence Kirk and si16. Frankly I've been stunned with the positive response to my playing I've received on the forum. I intend to travel to Memphis, Tennessee soon to shop the Apple store there. (I have a Mac) I will get some desktop recording equipment and perhaps the Garage Band software as well. This

is what I'm interested in learning about as well.
