A Beautiful Life

I thought I would submit this oldie written in 1918 by William Golden. I can't play it half as well as I could about a half century ago.

Very nice. I'm going to be humming that tune all day now. Thanks, I really enjoyed that!

If that's the case chammon, I'd love to hear how you played it 50 years ago - because you sure can play it beautifully now! Very sweet and full of emotion.

Thanks all for the kind words of encouragement. They actually are examples of what the lyrics of this song advocated.

Hey Chammon, I used to think Bill Clinton was Arkansas most notable (or notorious) attraction. I think you are moving up the list! Really nice, I like that style and you are darn good at it.

Thanks CT. The former Prez is a friend of a friend and when he is in town, he stays with my neighbor up the street. Of course I lock my beautiful wife up when he is in town.

Glad to hear BC put Arkansas on the map! Great old timey guitar sound. What Are you playing on? Sounds like an old silvertone hollow f body ?

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
