I am new to this forum- my first recording for you "macman's blues"
I am new to this forum guys. I have been playing over 5 years. I am trying to develop as a player and it takes time and patience.
This is a piece I recorded using my Digitech GNX3000 into Garageband on my Mac.
I will go ahead and post a link to this Backing track over in that subfolder of the forum.
Please give me feedback. I know I hit some sour notes in this.
thx mark.

Hey Macman,
Nice sound, nice playing. I liked it. Had a Pink Floyd kind of sound, one of my favourite bands.

Hey Mark, welcome to the forum.
There were a couple of sour notes, as you say, but overall it was nicely done with a good overall tone too. Good mixture of slow, expressive passages with some quicker licks thrown in too. Its good that you keep returning to the same theme throughout.
Which aspects of your playing are you trying to improve?

Which aspects of your playing are you trying to improve?
I am trying to improve my speed and accuracy. I am also trying to lear new scales and techniques in order to develop my own style. Overall I am trying to improve my confidence and understanding so I can attack Improv's more natuarally.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
