First nervous attempt

Well, for what its worth, I'll make a stab at trying to upload something. Had a steep learning curve trying to get the recording on Audacity to export to an mp3 file but I THINK I have it done. So if there is nothing uploaded perhaps the webmaster will have mercy on me and delete the whole embarassing mess.

It uploaded just fine and I am very impressed

I am not a plucker at all
I attack the strings on my strat quite heavily with a Dunlop Big Stubby so I will never get a sound like that and am therefore a bit jealous
But I enjoy the way I play
One day I might even do it properly

You have achieved that already

Great music
Let's hear some more

  Encouraged

Thanks all for the kind words. I'm encouraged by them and also that I was able to jump through al the hoops and arrive on the site with an mp3 file from Audacity running on an iMac. Maybe I'll come up with something else. Don't know if that is a promise or a threat.

Fantastic, chammon. I can't imagine why you'd be nervous posting that! What a unique technique you have ... flawless, if you ask me, and dripping with feel ... WOW!

Thanks Kirk. High praise indeed coming from you. When I listen to it I think it sounds a little like I'm playing it while falling down the stairs. I think its my fingernails tapping on the pickguard. Probably a habit I've developed without realizing it.

That's pretty much what I was going to say about it. Great style, great feeling and a nice tune.

That was really enjoyable. Well played with a strong melody and some very nice harmonic touches. Keep posting, Chammon.

Quality stuff...!!! I had to download it to my drive in order to listen to it....
And it was well worth it... Brilliant...!!!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
