Rollin in my Sweet Baby's arms

Have not had much time for recording but thought I would get this one in. Mic for vocals was bad pick.
Guitar picking, drums, piano. John,Jim,Smort and I did this a couple years back, Wanted to give it a shot. Truly an exercise in mixing and recording. Too late to fool with it tonight.

Oldie cover little bluegrass blues picking.

Hope you like it. Key of C

Nice going Eddie - excellent picking as usual and nothing wrong with the vocals - which mic did you use, and what's your best vocal mic at the moment?

The mic I used is a headset type AKG mic. Too late, too close, and too low. It will go into the redo box. Vocals don't work at 3am, in the morning. Another thing is mic placement for guitar and I think I picked up the headset mic in this mix as well.

Thank you to all you good folks for your kind words and encouragement. I removed the vocals and left the track. Unfortunately, it resolves itself to a little more like a backing track. Without the vocals which is the core of the tune, it has little to offer except for some decent picking. For now I will leave it this way until I revisit the vocals again.
Your replies are greatly appreciated.
