My Old Guitar (music WWLaidback)
This is a song I wrote a couple of days ago inspired by a quote by Doug, WWLaidback has kindly let me use his Blues Solo in G for this, I heard it and thought this song would work with the tune, hope it's ok

It's nice to see/hear someone reach out to a different style than they usually play. (The Beatles are now singing The Blues)
Very nicely done Chris. I didn't see the posts that led to this song, but great stuff to all.
Keep on strummin'

Vocals are perfect. The lyrics are really good.
Good job starsailor.
We'll see what Eddie can do with a re-mix.

It's good to hear you use that voice of yours in a different way.

Thanks Laidback, I was a bit hesitant about putting a vocal over your track but thought it fitted the theme of the song so I'm glad you liked what I did, I'll have another go with the remix if that's ok
Best Wishes
Chris

Thanks Ian, not my usual style only the second time I've attempted the blues don't think I'll do another one, not as comfortable doing these but it was good fun having a go

starsailor,
Stick with it, you can do it. I just finished the remix for Woody.
Lets see how he likes it.
You may want to reconsider that statement. Don't hurt to break new ground.

We don't care if you are comfortable or not! We want to hear your voice in all sorts of different ways! You have a good voice, and not many do, so you are not allowed to not use it in any way it works well (GFB Rule Book) - and this works well.
I think I've got confused with too many double negatives but my message is this: Well done everyone with this fine colab, and great singing Chris.
One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain - Bob Marley
