Walk On
Finally got a little bit of time to do a bit of recording. Here's one that I've been itching to do- a bit of a stretch for the vocal chords, but not too bad. Hopefully it isn't too painful for you to listen to

Nice job Chris. I don't think that was an easy song to sing.
I did'nt experience any pain either.
I did take 3 advil for the pain in my foot about a half hour ago. I wonder if that helped? Just kidding.

Nope - no pain for me either, that was quite a challenging range - well for me anyway, I tried joining in but when I got to the high notes I had to give up or my tonsils would be stuck to the pc screen
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Jeez, way to take on a tough one. Accolades to anyone who tries to do Roy's stuff, but especially impressed with those last few high notes. Plus the beginning gets down low too. Great job.

Eddie, thanks for the comments- hope the pain in the foot is better.
Windsong, appreciate the comments
Jomi, I might have a wider range, but I'm always amazed at how you're always able to nail every note in your singing. That's something I'm constantly working on and you always seem to make it sound effortless.
Knight46- glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the listen and the comments.
Johnny- Thanks for the comments- you know how hard Roy's songs are to do, but they sure are worth trying.
The vocals you hear on this were done after I'd sung the song probably 15 times and I was hitting the wall on the high notes. The best take was done as a practice run while playing the song on the piano. I would have used it, but my piano is so badly out of tune on a few notes that it was jarring when I tried laying a guitar track on it. I might upload that take- just me and the piano- or I'll maybe go back and redo the vocals on a day when the voice is in good shape.

No pain here. Great song Chris. I can relate to your words on singing. I always am envious of those that are not vocally challenged. I myself can hear the notes I want to sing but often come woefully shy of the mark. If you wanted to hear pain you should hear me if I were to try the same song. Guaranteed to get the dogs howling. I think you did a wonderful job.
I recently found a intrumental track you did quite a few months back. Accoustical guitar with a capo at the third fret. I have been jamming along to it an may have to put up a post of what I've come up with for it. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Jeff
