Can you do that
Well this is really an unfinished song but i think its finished I never used my flute recorder to this extent, maybe its time for a better one. I never tried playing against this flute before, it was fun seeking out the notes....the right ones any how

I probably never listen to how other songwriters write their songs, I just write on using my own imagination. windsong

I think you did a very good job there tomg123!A very interesting melody!...If I could play the flute and knew how to use a digital recorder I would probably try to play and record Stairway To Heaven ....Have fun there...

Thanks guys, that flute is really called a recorder. I don't know if it can do many things beyond simple stuff. Stairway would be a cool thing to play on it tho. Iv'e never done anything with it other then experiment and use it for fills

It's great in my opinion. It gives a beautiful colour to the song.Maybe you should experiment some more with it,especially since you make your own songs...If I could,I would definitely give a try to Stairway To Heaven, without the flute,it's just empty...Keep doing your thing and enjoying music...
All the best,
Theo

I enjoyed that . I like the bumper sticker line and the good advice to slow it down. Which one of us can add a minute to our lives by worry. JB Good Playing

Lovely tune Tom. For me it conjured up a picture of you having this conversation with a very young child who is playing happily, neither listening nor understanding what you're saying. I found it striking and powerful.

Nice song Tom, good idea with the recorder and nice playing all round, liked the lyrics too, the whole song had quite a trippy feel to it which was cool

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
