Uncut Personal Treasure

Uncut Personal Treasure

As most of you know, I rely a lot on cut and paste to accomplish a complete tune and to do my best at hiding my flaws of any consistant motion in my playing. Well here's a take that I'm actually proud enough of to share uncut...flubs and all. And a big THANK YOU goes out to Kirk for sharing his PT way of looking at and using the fretboard and making melody....I actually found my way around this tune using a span of 12 different frets and all of the strings....you might not want to stand too close to me right now...not too sure if my head is going to explode from the swelling this has brought to me{lol} Now if I could just get some speed and dexterity from my fingers I'd be even more ecstatic than I am right now.

PS: BTW this was the third attempt thru, incase anyone was wondering.

and FINALLY...
Did you feel the gravitational pull as I finally shifted out of first gear...

Hello X4String...
Overall,I think that you have done a great job.Nice melody and mix, good sounds. The whole song gave me an impression of a western film song. That's how it felt to me anyway,a Moricone like melody...
Congratulations on the great job.Go on doing your thing and making more melodies and songs...Take care there...

Congrats X. Feels great not to be trapped below the 5th fret anymore, huh.

Nice going X4.
Since first hearing your stuff months ago, I could sense the musical beast is crawling out from inside you. Now it has reached another way to show up externally...

Great stuff Kenny! You are waaay ahead of me and disappearing into the distance (too many distractions to get much practicing done).

Did you get a drum track first, add keyboards etc and then improv over the BT?

I know to you more experienced, that this is no "whoa who was that" piece of playing, but it has really made me feel great knowing that there "is" hope for me yet.

Thanks astratslinger, a journey it is, which I'm digging more & more

Thanks AT, you got that right!

Thanks JD, that means a lot...music soothes the beast so they say

Thanks Ian, Chris & too you also Nutty

Thanks Carol, my tires have been spinning for quite a while, I hope now with PT I'll gain the traction I need.
I made the BT with BIAB and played over it. I also posted the BT in "backing Tracks" for those who might like to give it a shot.

Edit:- Carol, change my use of "hope" to "I know"
