The Noob Song

I have to say, after all the help from this site and over at the PT forum site, that I'm actually "starting" to feel musical and as though I'm improving somewhat. It's all of your generous encouragements that keep me moving forward and it's from that, that this was inspired...here's hoping it may help at least someone to keep plugging away...I know I will.....Thanks everyone!

The Noob Song.mp3

I'm just a noobie
who luvs using a doobie
while trying to learn some guitar

The sounds that I make
are all mine and not fake
to the more skilled though they might seem bizarre

Well I'm livin proof
that even a goof
can make music if only you try

It's the rockstar appeal
that you have to feel
to reach levels of stardom skyhigh

Believe in yourself true
let nothing make you blue
and you'll be well on your way

Remember this tip
to enjoy the whole trip
it's your feelings you want to convey

With that on your mind
your surely to find
it gets easier day after day

Yah goodie... Your voice conveys your inner musicality. (I don't think that's a word but then I didn't know what 'salacious' meant either).

I'm pretty sure no-one would know the answer to that on such a family-friendly forum Jomi . But I'm sure if you look into how the Doobie Brothers got their name you'll find out - The Doobie Brothers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
