The Right Side of Life

Wrote this very short song tonight... about a little over a minute when you include the silence

recorded it on my phone which made an amazing background wind effect and it fits the song perfectly I think

The Right Side of Life -

everythings all right when I

Do you know you hold the satchel
you can see the afterglo
oh to live in an improv
where i can't plan to wear my shoe

It's gonna be a great day
We'll both get our new tattoo
and i'll get to know you

a little more every day until i know you all
and after that it wouldnt matter if we end up in alaska
cause i'll be with you
and we'll remember
when things end in a

bonus points to whoever figures out the relation of the title to the song

Agent,
This has a very "Beat" feel. The lack of rhyme and metre gives it a disjointed effect that lends a surrealistic tone and that along with the wind effect from the phone completes the "Beat Generation" feel.

Had a real hard time hearing it- sounds like a lead in piece into another song, something along the lines of Pink Floyd.

Yeah I think CShude's got it...a floyd intro to me as well

Not "even" a guess on the relationship

It would be cool if you could fine a way to enhance this recording, does fit well with your vox....

Read down the right side of the song.

To those who have heard some of my other recordings, do you think my singing is improving? I've made it a point to sing about at least an hour a day, five days a week (work commute). Basically any time I'm in the car.

I couldn't hear it very well Agent, sounded very distant.

When all else fails, read the instructions.

Very atmospheric. I didn't read your reveal until after I'd listened. I thought it was either:
You're a Republican
you're always right
you 'dress' to the right
Just my mind I suppose.
I too would love to hear this as the intro to something big, chordy and epic.
Ian

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
