For Arthur Lee

Afternoon everybody, hope you are keeping well. I've done this new tune as a "tribute" to my musical hero Arthur Lee who sadly died a couple of years ago. Anybody who owns Forever Changes may recognise some of Mr Lee's tricks. Any feedback both positive or negative would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Ian

Ian,
that was very cool- a wild blending of different styles into something that just seems to fit together. Nice job on the production by the way.

That's nice. Really nice. I don't like the guitar tone, but it's very Arthur! Brilliant recording, great sounds. Howja do that???

Yes, very well done. Not familiar with Aruthur Lee, but this is great.

Thanks All for the feedback..it really is appreciated.

Nutty

I would honestly try and become familiar. Arthur was the lead singer (and songwriter) of a band called "Love" who would have become major stars if it wasn't for Arthur's wayward tendencies. The albums "Da Capo" and especially "Forever Changes" are essential listening. (If you check out those 100 greatest albums of all time listings it always ranks in there, especially in the UK)

Cheers

Ian

Very nice Ian, I particularly liked the hypnotic opening.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
