New YouTube Video - "In My Face"
Here's the latest. This is my second attempt using Chromakey. I thought recording music was time consuming. Video takes me forever. It could be that I have no idea what I'm doing, except that its fun. "In My Face" was written and performed by "Lewis & Walker." I played most of the parts except for the fabulous bassline played by the Amazing Carl. The video was not (obviously) scripted. I just shot a few clips and started slamming them together. I have decided I need an HD video camera and a faster computer, a better green screen and better lights. Gee, I wonder if having a job would help pay for that stuff?

Thanks! I can see many things I would do differently, but I'm not about to. Onward through the fog!

Brilliant job on the video Bob. 5 stars for sure. What is Chromakey?
I wish I could edit a video like you've done here. What do I need to start?

Brilliant, I can't understand how you're not making a very good living at this, the tv and radio is crammed full of people who can't hold a candle to you.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Thanks, folks!
Chromakey is the green screen (or blue screen) technology that allows you to separate elements from the background and superimpose them on a new background. Most of this video was shot in front of a large green cloth I hung up for this purpose.

Everything is great! The song, the mixing, the editing, and lets not forget, you have to come up with the idea as well. Solid Gold!
So are we getting any "spoilers" on what the next one will be?

No spoilers for the next one as I have no idea what it will be yet. I also need to spend a little time on a few tunes in progress. Not to mention finding a job, hopefully real soon. Anyway, I'm gonna use the same security George Lucas uses to keep his plots secret.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
