Dad and me
Here are a few tunes I recorded with my Dad singing. These were done a few years back when he was only 72 or so. I sing with him on a few. Dad has no musical background except a love to sing. We used to sing in the car on family trips. I think he did a great job.

Those were all really great RB, the vocal job and mix on "House" was superb IMO!

Wow, what a nice treasure to have. My Dad was a singer as well, but I don't think we have many recordings of his.
Very nice Rockerbob!

It was a lot of fun. My Dad loves to sing and so do I. He has a CD he uses to show off to his friends.

Hey there RB. Sounds great. It's nice that you spent some musical time with your dad. My dad used to play trombone and was absolutely mad on Dixieland Jazz. I used to love it when he'd get his trombone out and I'd try and play along with him on guitar.

I was just going to bed (it's night time down under) and I thought I would click on the first one for a kind of 'nightcap' and have ended up listening to each track a couple of times.
All I can say is I really liked them. Your dad did a fantastic job (and so did you)! Those MP3s are truly a family heirloom.
Cheers,
Ron

Thanks, all!
I attribute much of my love to music to my Dad singing in the car on road trips. Both parents supported my playing back when it was just noise. Funny, seems I wanted to play louder when I didn't know how.
