My niece asked me to record this bluegrass song. I'm not a fan of bluegrass, and this song seems 'mundane' to me. But I told her I'd do it, so I did.
I did some research and found that the revered bluegrass version starts as a waltz then goes into the 4/4 bluegrass rhythm.
Well, to make it (perhaps) less mundane, I thought I'd play the traditional verses, then add two more varieties.
So the third verse is a minor-key blues, and the fourth is my take on how a cowboy strummer would sing it.
So I thought you might like to hear the four versions, I like the blues part best.
