Boulevard of Broken Dreams Green Day cover
I did a cover of Green Day. I played along with Guitar pro. Sorry the sound kinda got clipped and the guitar is too far ahead of the mix but it's my first time playing along with anything in the background. Questions and comments welcome. Don't wanna say concerns because I'm scared of what I'd get.

I'm not very knowledgeable about that song, but I didn't hear anything horrible - sounded like you had it nailed.
I don't listen to that style of music much but that is one I could listen to more than once. Nice work.

A very good effort. I don't like the song, but you got it right. What are you using to record your guitar?

Peptic,
Nice tone, timing and attack, the recording was a bit fuzzy and that didn't help but overall a nice job.

I thought you produced a a very good easily recognisable tune, well played.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
