Old Cowhand - New Bass & backup vocals

Here's the latest mix. Carl stopped by today and he played the bass part. We both sang on the backup vocals.

It's getting closer!

Yeee haw! Brilliant Why you don't have a recording career is a mystery to me.

For any new members not familiar with Rockerbob's amazing talent, check out this thread to hear the best version of Hallelujah ever recorded. Hallelujah

Thanks much folks! Carl and I had lots of fun yesterday.

Carol - Thanks for the kind words regarding my recording of Hallelujah. It's a great song.

That's really good stuff. When I was younger, I worked as a cowboy on a couple ranches and that's where I first picked up the guitar. For the 1st few years, cowpoke tunes was all I played. Now, it seems that you don't hear it anymore. Great voice, great tunes. Makes me want to record something.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
