A little Dylan .....
... never hurt anyone.
Tomorrow Is Long Time
Bob Dylan

*******************
I recorded this tune this afternoon. It's a simple two chorder. G, C. Although I am capo'd on the 4th fret. So that puts it in the key of B.
On the guitar tech side of things... This is the Guild D25/6. I usually do not use "light gauge" strings, however that's what I had available today. I prefer a mid range medium string, heavier on the low A & E. I like the bass to stand out.
Recording notes.... I used a Nady Cardoid Condenser CM-88. It's a nice acoustic mic. Positioned at the 12th fret about 6" out from the fretboard. The mic is run into my Behringer EU1202. Settings for the mic levels: mic volume @ 50%; Low @ 4, Mid @ 8, High @ 8. No effects at all. Vocal was thru an MXL 990 condenser mic. The vocal track was duplicated, however not time shifted for any reverb effect. The main guitar track was duplicated as well, no time shift. For the second guitar, again the D25. I turned "Low to zero with Mid and High @ 8. It's also Panned completely to the Right. The second guitar is also capo'd but on the 7th and playing in the E configuration. I wanted a real high range but a very gently sound.
All of that was plugged through Audacity, mixed and rendered and normalized.
Anyway, take a listen and see what you think.
Thanks,
Les

Very nice! I envy people that have nice singing voices.
I see you are using Audacity. I'm trying that and Kristal. When trying to lay down another track and listening to a previous for timing, I can't get past the latency problems. I think I'm doing something wrong (I have the SoundBlaster Live soundcard). Is there a certain way of doing this?

Wow, there's one you don't hear covered very much, if at all. A sweet song and a beautiful rendition! Thanks for posting it.
How about "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" from his John Wesley Harding album?
Plug me in, Chester.
