Inner Light

I put a new one up in the showcase forum area under instrumentals. It is called Inner Light and it is in 5/4. It's a reflective piece. Let me know what you think.

Here is the link to the page:

Inner Light

Hope you like it!

Jim

Very nice, liked the way it was panned to give that dueling guitar sound. The recording was clear as a bell too

Just stunning, an absolute joy to listen to. That acoustic guitar comes through crystal clear, how do you achieve that? Beautiful piece of music

Gorgeous, Jim. Beautifully recorded. Interesting how imperceptible the 5/4 is. They usually jump out at you, this one just floats by.

A Well crafted piece. I agree with Kirk on the 5/4. Loved the harmonies also. JB

Thanks, Kirk. Something about the guitar pattern that keeps the 5/4 meter almost hidden. Once I added the melody it made it even more subdued. I was not intentionally going for 5/4 originally. I just started fooling around with some sounds and patterns end ended up with one particular phrase that I just kept going with.
