Blues jam with Stray Dog
This is a little jam I did with an internet friend, Stray Dog, a nice young guy from the UK who likes to play the blues.
I've had a slide on my pinky for a few weeks, so my picking was getting a little rusty and it shows here. We spent very little time doing this, pretty much a one day thing.
I'm on the first two turnarounds, and Stray has the second two.
Just an easy going, playing-with-a-friend, jam.

Nice mellow sound GG. Very cool. I love playing this kind of stuff with friends too. it's great fun. Normally were sat in the garden with a beer so it never gets to tape. Sounds like you enjoyed playing it too.

Thanks, you guys, for taking the time to listen and comment.
Fireblade...some of the best music I heard last summer was played on a back porch. Maybe not "best" in the technical sense, but the most enjoyable. Recording, and putting tunes together is lots of fun but, for me, it doesn't hold a candle to sitting down with a friend or two, drinking a beer, and just jamming along.

I'd like to try some British beer. Let me know if there is room for a third player.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
