Derk,
All three recordings were clean and the playing in all three was good. Good control and changes...I am not into a lot of effects but like the 3rd riff, I guess just because there was more single note riffting and less driven chording.

The beginning riff in the open G sounds a bit forced with the last two notes. It kind of sounds like your going from a 3rd to a natural 7th. Not a particularly metal sound. It is too bright in the context of the rest of the tune. Try a dominant 7th or going back to the root.

Thank you for your feedback.....the open g riff is supposed to be "heavy blues".I love the blues so you could say that riff sits apart from the other two I guess....they are three seperate ideas for three seperate songs.....Thanx for your input!Ill keep hammering away

For that genre it sounded good, the riffs were organized and timed well. I did like them better then the first one tho

I liked riff A personally, it had a lot of drive and energy to it and just sounded good!
When all else fails, read the instructions.
