Effectual Phantisy

This will be my last recording post for a while{hey.... I can hear you clapping}lol, I titled this on the account of if I don't stop playing with all these effects, I'll never reach the fantasy of learning guitar. Anyways I hope my next "recording" post will show some real improvement in guitar and not just more noise.

Btw, if you don't have a "make better" key on your keyboard...just crank it up

Kenny,
Now use this a BT and play the guitar to it. This will certainly give you some exercise.

Nice sound Kenny, you are certainly getting the recording down. I liked this, nice feel...sort of a "trippy" thing. +1 to Eddie on the BT.

Why depribe yourself if you like using effects (i liked this btw) you can also post just guitar even if you think its not as good as you want. I heard some of your guitar playing its not bad. Anyway just my thoughts and it could be none of my beeswax, maybe you just want to devote more time to the guitar

Thanks guys

Tom, just embarrassed by my posts compared to the others here, If I spent more time practising and less time trying to make something that resembles a tune, I might actually get there one day. I've said it before, I have to stay hard on myself or I get lazy.

I can't understand why you feel embarassed X4, your music is exactly what the site is all about, learning, practicing, steady improvement. I think you hugely underestimate your ability, your tunes get better all the time and this one is excellent.
Like Skinny says, don't stop, if you leave out the fun what's left?

Thanks Jomi and to all for the encouragement, the embarassment comes from the fact this is a guitar site and 95% of my stuff dosen't include enough if you ask me. I won't stop, its more like taking the 3 or 4 hours on average it takes me to slap these things together and devote that time to further myself on the guitar. I have so many ideas floating in my head about tunes that would sound great with the fingering style some of you post, and along with that barre chords are fighting me and now I've become hooked on slide. No I'll never stop, but for now instead of sightseeing I think its time to get on the bus and move down the road to betterment....believe me you haven't heard the last from me, hopefully just the last of the beginnings of me.

It's all music Kenny....you're here to learn, and, learning you are! If the guitar isn't your main instrument, so be it. Don't stop the music!

Cool track Kenny, can I borrow it to practice mixing, I've got a Bass line to go with it and this is a good backing track to work with, don't think you should be embarrassed by your posts, I've always found you quite inspirational, I can see where your coming from though, I still have a lot to learn and my recordings are doing my head in, I like the songs I've done but I want to do better. The slide posts you put on showed you give 100% to learning something new.
At the end of the day you've got to do what's best for you, if your not at peace with yourself it's not good, look after yourself Kenny, you'll be laying down some mean guitar tracks in no time you've got the music in you (isn't that a song)

All the Best

Chris
