Slidin into Heaven

Even though I just started this sliding aspect and don't have all the basics down{yet}, I gotta say I love it.

Play with your tones X. Look for a lighter, brighter sound to play over this. Vary your sound to fit the piece. The heavy growling stuff works better with dirty blues.

Kenny,
Sounds like you hitting the bars right though. Try a different sound setting. Good job.

Thanks AT, I appreciate your help! I'll be able to go higher/brighter in pitch when I figure out the neck{string sets} a little more.

Kenny,
I am impressed. Your hitting the targets very well. Much better on the sound.

2nd one sounded better kenny, don't know too much about sliding except the occassional slide but it sounded good to my ear, the timing was there

Kenny,
I went back a listened to this a second time and I agree with AT, for the bt that you are using a lighter sound would be better. Unless you are in the Delta Mud blues, to me an almost thin, twangy sound is "right".

Nice job- I'm always impressed by anyone that can make more than a squawk while playing slide.
