Collaboration with Kirk

Jomi noted in a separate thread that it was difficult to follow the development of a particular collaboration that resulted in a post I started called "What the Heck...". Perhaps some people would like to hear the final mix.

So, here it is. I am placing at the beginning of a CD that I am currently producing.

Hope you enjoy it, and my many thanks to Kirk for doing this with me. And thank you to all who listened and gave helpful advice on the other thread.

Todd,
Listened to the final product. I see you brought the guitar up front more over the keys. Nice easy listening just think jive. Kirks improvisions and interpretation were wonderful.
I think it came out great.
Iyts a keeper.

Lovely, top quality piece of music, lots going on and very professional sounding. I agree with Fireblade about the ending, it is a bit sudden and unexpected, maybe you could fade it out instead?

Thanks for posting it here Todd, personally I tend to follow this thread much more closely than the others. It would be nice if all the completed collabs ended up here, or maybe they do and I just don't know it!!

The abrupt ending was intentional. I'm putting the song on the beginning of an album. The name of the song on that album is "Sacred Interruption" (hence the abrupt ending). Can't tell if how disconcerting it can make one feel is a good thing or not...hmmmnn...

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
