You're So Cold -- original vintage rock
Folks,
Been deep into the mixer at Frog's Studio. Pen in hand. Candle wax dripping on my cigarettes. And look what happens. Another three chord song. A/E/D. Right Click, download and play along if you like.
Money Chords! $$
The trick is ..... the rhythm. For the students of rhythm guitar, listen to the left channel and then the right. Concentrate on how the rhythm guitars plays off each other. The bass is nailed to the kick. The snare is sync'd to everything. The vocals are playing right into the rhythm guitars. This is 135 bpm.
You're So Cold HiFi [3.2mb @ 3:10]
As always, thanks for listening.

Les,
Now that was a good recording! Great powerful vocals. Excellant use of the instrument placement.

Another excellent offering- definitely got that "oldies" feel to it- captured that sound that mixed up rock,country,blues,honky-tonk, etc.
The mix itself sounded a tad thin on my headphones- bass could come up just a hair, I think. Might just be the cans, though.
Nice job.

Sounds very good. Sounds kind of like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Nice Les... Speaking of cold, you should visit Canuckistan these days!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
