Tune for my daughter

I have not posted in a while but that doesn't mean I stopped playing.

Came up with something while trying to calm my 6 month old. She liked it

Its called "Please Stop" I guess since thats what I was trying to get her to do. I guess this is my first original song. I have made others but this is my best so far. Maybe I'll finish it someday if people like it.

**

And do not stop. Never stop playing music for your child or grandchild.

I brought both my daughter and son up on home grown music. I continue the tradition with my grandchildren.

Music is family. Family is music.

That was cool.
Please stop, LOL. I can remember using similar words @ 3 AM. LOL
Wished I'd played back then.

well done- I'm sure you make up lyrics when you play it for her as the occasion suits:
"Put that down,
take that out of your mouth!
I got 2 hours of sleep,
and now I'm a grouch."

Thanks everyone. I hope music is part of our relationship when she gets older. Maybe it will help us get through the teenage years.

I think I'll try learning some music theory stuff so I can actually put together a song.

Lovely tune, very nicely played and recorded, gorgeous baby too.

I have 2 boys aged 22 and 19, they're messy, very noisy, inconsiderate and expensive - all that really changed over the years is the kind of bottle they drink from

When all else fails, read the instructions.

Hahaha, thats a good one. She just started holding her own bottle which makes a huge difference.

This was recorded using a cheap PC mic. I am happy with the quality considering the setup. Maybe someone can suggest a good mic for accoustic. This happens to be a 30 year old classical guitar so I'm not sure if that matters.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
