Pretty cool Fireblade. I learned a good bit of it. And practice bits of the solo too. This is one of those songs that you want to learn. But everyone is dissing it so much as being cliche. I need to practice it more often.
You did a good job.

Good performance fireblade, I know this song gets dissed a lot but it still takes a fair bit of concentration to do it and you did a good job, I think Led Zeppelin are back tonight, they're doing a 90 minute set, so this is quite an apt post, well done fireblade, by the way what make of guitar are you playing it looks nice and it sounds good.

Cheers Guys, I love playing it. It always goes down well in the guitar shop. LOL
It's a Tanglewood TW45NS ( left handed as you may have noticed). It's a great guitar, everything I wanted it has and it didn't cost the earth.

Very well played and I bet that most who knock it can't play it all the way through. Thanks for sharing this.

I don't find it cliche anymore - in fact you rarely hear it played because it was so cliche for so long. Personally, I'd welcome hearing "Stairway" in guitar shops now instead of endless renditions of "Sweet Child O' Mine", "Welcome to the Jungle" and two-string power chord Metallica songs.

And his hair was perfect.

Cliche or not, I practice a run through every once in a while to make sure I don't forget it. Never know when someone is going to ask you to play it- since they expect every self-respecting guitarist to be able to play it.
Well done overall- keep working on the smoothness and some of the tricky spots and you'll be mistaken for Mr. Page.

Cheers guys and thanks for the encouragement. I'm smoother when I play it on my SG. Amazes me that after all these years, it's still hard to hold down four strings on my acoustic quickly. LOL
It's one of those tunes that impresses the non-playing. Had great fun at barbies, etc with it.
Next vid I fancy is classical gas. Now if only I can get through that in one take. LOL
