The band played waltzing matilda
This song is taken from a time when the Australian/New zealand armies landed on Gallipoli during the first world war, they were supposed to knock Turkey out of the war but the Turks were ready.
The Australians suffered terribly and over 8000 of them were killed.
The song is about one soldiers journey through it all.
Once again, it's a sad song and a bit gory in places!
All the same I hope you like it.

Wonderful Jomi , you really captured the emotion of that song.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's,
And his hair was perfect.

Hi Jomi that was a very touching rendition of the song, beautifully played and sung.
It was one of the worst disasters in military history and a lot of people don't remember that it was Winston Churchills idea.
The Men and Boys that made the ultimate sacrifice in the First World War must never be forgotten, it was an horrific war.
Here's a couple of pieces about Gallipoli.

I too thought it was another great one from you Jomi, but am I the only one who felt it was a little too strong in the echo department?
Interesting links Chris...thanks

Thanks Starsailor thanks also for the links, there's more to it than I'd realised, reading through the links though, Churchills' idea could have worked if they'd had better leadership on the spot, it's all still horrific though.
Thanks Knight46 Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks X4 Regarding the echo, I agree although I did want to add some reverb, I don't know how to adjust the amount, I use presets
and I've consistently used the same one from Adobe Auditions called; 'vocal stage - warm' - it hasn't been a problem in the past but it does
seem more echoey in this song. Any idea on toning it down a little would be welcome! I have experimented with other presets but this one seemed to suit me best.
The ending is deliberately echoey and it should seem distant too - echoes of the past if you see what I mean.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

The whole thing Jomi, but like I said maybe its just me vs your accent. I just had a hard time clearly hearing the lyrics on this one.
Hope I didn't offend you with this.........Kenny

Jomi, I can't seem to find the 'vocal stage - warm' setting on my version{1.5} of auditions..if you have the same maybe you could point me in the right direction or if it was a vst you downloaded where you found it from, I could then offer something you might could use. Most all the effects open a window with all of their changable parameters, so I'm sure its just something easily over-looked..................Kenny
PS: I thought the ending was great and well executed.
