my latest, all acoustic

I wrote this a couple of years ago to be a very heavy, crunchy, hard rock/metal tune but never recorded it. Now that I'm doing so much acoustic I thought my first stab at it would be unplugged. I used a djembe for the drums.

Yes, I tune to Eb and yes I wrote the lyric. It's all me. I know my handle has 'Band' in it but I'm a one-man band.

Sounds good! I like this vocal track, but I might like it up in the mix a bit more. The drum sounds very cool!

Hey, I've got one of each La Patrie in stock now! ;-)

The best thing to do is to give me a call or set an appointment. There are times I'm teaching at the university or teaching guitar lessons, etc.

Hey if one man can sound so good, what about the other musicians you are going to put out of work?
Sounds great. I thought this was a beginners guitar forum! : ) I guess you are in the "and beyond" category!

you're too kind. Trust me, if I ever played this live I'd have to gather 2 other guitar players, a bass player, and 2 percussionists and at least 2 of them would have to sing. I can do it by myself recording but not live. ;-)

UGB ...

Quite liberating isn't it! To be able to do at home that which used to take hundreds of thousands of dollars, a small army and weeks of work to put together.

Good tune. Thanks for the listen.

Les

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
