Its good to see you

This is my first attempt at a song using my Irish flat back Bouzouki which I'm trying to learn, I know this a guitar site but it's very close, it has strings, soundbox, nut, saddle, frets etc. besides, I asked first.
Hope you like it.

Hi Jomi, that was great, the Bouzouki has a very refreshing tone and it suits the song perfectly and gives it a lighthearted feel which complements the lyrics, very enjoyable song John

Jomi,
Very nicely done as always. That Bouzouki sounds good too.
Could do a nice mix with that and a guitar track.
Wonderful tune and playing. I think you could play a shoe box with strings and your vocals would carry it all.

Wow, Jomi, now you have me curious about what a bouzouki looks like? Is that a Celtic word? Ditto to what AT asked..post a pic of it? I love this song, it's giving me shivers as I listen to it, and I can imagine the full band kicking in at a certain point, with percussion, the tin whistle, the works! You really do have a fabulous voice, not one sour note to be found anywhere to my ears! I'd buy this song if it was on an album, Jomi, along with all of your others, so if you're not ready to play live, why not just market a CD's worth for yourself? Oh, did I mention I'm in marketing...? LOL

Gorgeous sound on that bouzouki, maybe I'll put the idea of an electric aside and look into one of these. They're fairly straight forward to play, do you think?

Wow, that was really good. Expected, of course, after listening to your other stuff, but still.

Theres some info on a bouzouki.

Irish bouzouki
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Irish bouzouki (colloquially, the "zouk") is a derivative of the Greek bouzouki.

The bouzouki, in the newer tetraxordo (four course/eight string) Greek version, was introduced into Irish Traditional Music in the late 1960s, by Johnny Moynihan, and popularised by Andy Irvine, Dónal Lunny, and Jomi.

Well done Jomi

Lovely sound off that bouzouki Jomi, great song. Is that a traditional song or did you write it yourself? Have you thought about adding a harmony vocal part for the chorus, perhaps brought in for the second chorus onwards? I reckon that would sound great.
