Dirty 3 Bud Blues

That would be 3 long neck Budweisers.

This is my LP into the TonePort with a Brit J 800 setting.

Nothing fancy, for sure...but I'm prolific, lol.

Your lead is too far out front. Your drowning the bt. Sounds like you had fun with it. Some nice vibroto in there.

Thanks Allthumbs. I noticed the loudness of it after I mixed it down to mp3. I've got a lot to learn about recording and playing guitar, and I appreciate any and all tips that come my way after posting a tune.

Yes, I did have fun with it.

Very nice indeed. Your playing is impressive considering how little time you've been at it.

Nice feel to that tune! Nice playing... ended too soon... could have let that one go for a while longer.

That rocks, GG....I've been doing the blues for a long time, and while there were a couple of 'off' notes, you had the idea, and at points it sounded just awesome! Honest! Keep it up, maybe you and I could work a blues tune together! Just remember, when the rest of the band stops, YOU have to stop....it's the damn drummers who keep going and going and going and forget to look up to see why there is sudden silence! LOL

Can't wait to get my own electric....!

I really didn't do my homework on this tune as I have some of the others. Usually I listen to a BT for a few days and kind of think about what would go well with it, but I didn't do that this time and it shows.

I've received mixed opinions on whether to stop when the rest of the band stops, so I'm not sure what to do there. Some have said that you should stop playing if it's a song with vocals and to play through the pause when it's an instrumental. Others were either on the "stop" or "go" side.

Yeah, the drummers... I read something once that said, "4 piece band = 3 musicians and a drummer".
